I liked the content and the presentation and written style. I get good information to start me off on the learning journey and it enables me to go elsewhere for a deeper dive.
I have found the swift.org Language Guide site to be a fantastic resource for diving deeper into the swift language.
In terms of learning, I’ve found that reading, listening/watching and trying the code examples myself to be one side of the learning experience, and a valuable one. But something I’m pushing myself to do more of is the ’experimental’ element of coding. Asking questions of the code, such as ‘can I put a Dictionary in an array?’, ‘how do I delete a Dictionary key and value?’ etc. Just trying stuff and not fearing ‘breaking it’ is a surprisingly difficult habit for me to get into, but once I started, it’s been refreshing.
I definitely recommend going that extra step when learning, test yourself and try things. It’s fun!
